John Forrest is passionate about introducing people to memorable experiences. Whether it is a skiing adventure, a new fine wine, good food, cultural event or scenic wonder he derives enormous personal satisfaction from sharing these with new and old friends.
Prior to joining Maclean Adventures John had a 38 year career as an executive in the financial services industry. He worked some of the largest Insurance and Asset Management companies in the country. His roles as a National Sales Director, Managing Director and Director of Business Development provided him the opportunity to conceive and conduct Corporate Incentive Programs and Educational Conferences at resorts, hotels and conference centers all over North America.
John’s experience in the hospitality business led to a passion for food and wine. He has worked part-time at one of the largest fine wine retailers in New England and is enrolled to take culinary and wine classes this fall.
He is also a member of the Western Folklife Center and has frequently attended the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko Nevada.
When not skiing, tasting wine, cooking or traveling he spends time on his bicycle and tending his new gardens.
